The sweet forest scent and the silky-smooth application of Nyx Body Oil  is a combination fit for royalty. This simple yet luxurious body oil is a staple to keep your skin soft and supple year-round. 

Nyx Body Oil helps to keep your skin deeply hydrated while also promoting elasticity and soothing inflammation. Handmade in the PNW with cold pressed olive oil infused with fir and pine to  tandem to preserve collagen, fight oxidative stress, and boost circulation. 

We use a long, cold infusion method in order to preserve the integrity of the plant material and draw out the maximum healing effects.

How do I use the Nyx Body oil? Plus

After a shower or bath (or any time of day, really) apply 1-3 droppers full of body oil to your entire body. Take 5-10 to massage it into your skin for a soft, non-greasy feel. Best applied to slightly damp skin.

Why do you use olive oil in your body oil? Plus

Olive Oil is a perfect carrier oil for our Nyx Body Oil. We love the antioxidant and vitamin-rich nature of this oil. With Vitamin E & K and the high level of polyphenols, olive oil can help to promote skin elasticity and soothe inflammation. Olive oil can be a bit greasy for the face, so we like to keep it to the body so as not to clog any pores. As an emollient, olive oil helps to lock in moisture and reduce water loss, making it perfect for the cold & dry winters.

Will this oil leave my skin feeling greasy or sticky? Plus

No! When applied properly, Nyx Body Oil will leave you feeling soft and silky. We recommend taking even just a couple minutes to make sure that the oil is properly integrated into your skin by lightly massaging it in.

Is Nyx Body Oil safe for sensitive skin? Plus

The Nyx Body Oil is formulated to be gentle and safe for sensitive skin. With all of our products, we always recommend doing a patch test on a small section of your skin to see how you react to it. Everyone is different and the only way to truly know if it works for you is to try it.
How should I incorporate Nyx into my ritual? Plus

We love to incorporate a ritual of body oiling right after every bath or shower. Set aside an extra 5-15 minutes and take your time as you massage your oil into your entire body. Water is very drying for our skin, so it can feel so juicy and nourishing to lather up with some oil right away to feel soft and silky for the rest of the day.

Does this body oil help with skin barrier repair? Plus

Yes! Your skin barrier can become damaged with the overuse of exfoliants, harsh chemicals, drying-agents, and just general neglect. The key to repair is going to be gentle formulas, natural ingredients, and hydration (on the skin level).

Olive oil is a gentle, natural emollient meaning that it helps to soften and hydrate your skin. It works to trap moisture in your skin, filling in the spaces between your cells to help with drying and flaking.

If your skin is in a more dire need of repair, we would recommend checking out our body balm instead, as the tallow and beeswax work together to create an even more hydrating barrier.
Will this body oil stain my clothes? Plus

If applied properly, Nyx Body Oil should not stain your clothes! We recommend spending a couple minutes massaging the oil into your skin to make sure it is integrated before putting your clothes on.

    Silky & Refreshing

    The Nyx Body Oil is such a delight to use! Ive studied a ton in Ayurveda & all the body oils...this one is so nourishing for the body. The scent is heavenly and the feel is luxurious while also not being greasy at all. Much care and thought has gone into this product and it lasts so long, well worth it. Our skin is our largest organ, so happy to feed it great ingredients!
