At RHEA, we handcraft our skincare in small batches to ensure the highest quality and potency. Because our products are made to order using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, our fulfillment process differs slightly from mass-market retailers.
1. Processing & Fulfillment Times
- Small-Batch Production: Orders are prepared, poured, and packaged by hand. Please allow up to 20 business days for your order to be crafted, processed and shipped, depending on our current production cycle.
- Tracking: Once your order has been handcrafted and is ready for transit, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number.
2. Shipping Rates & Destinations
- Domestic (USA): We currently ship to all 50 states via USPS or UPS. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your location.
- International: At this time, we only ships within the United States. We hope to expand to our international community in the future.
3. Shipping Methods & Estimated Transit
Once your order leaves our Pacific Northwest studio, estimated delivery times are as follows:
- Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days
- Expedited Shipping: 1–3 business days
- Please note: Transit times are estimates provided by the carrier and do not include our internal production time.
4. Temperature Considerations (Tallow & Balms)
Because our products are 100% natural and free from synthetic stabilizers or waxes, they are sensitive to extreme heat.
- Summer Shipping: During warmer months, we recommend retrieving your package immediately upon delivery to prevent melting.
- Melting: If your balm melts in transit, simply place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to solidify. This does not affect the quality or efficacy of the product.
5. Missing or Damaged Packages
- Damaged Items: If your order arrives damaged, or tampered with please email us at children@motherrhea.com within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the damage and your order number.
- Lost Packages: RHEA is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once marked as "Delivered" by the carrier. We recommend shipping to a secure location.
6. Address Changes
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are unable to redirect packages once they have been dispatched. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for the additional shipping cost to resend the item.
