How to use Artemis Night Serum

1. At night, with a warm wash cloth, gently wash away the day’s dust, pollutants, stress.

2. Apply 4–6 drops of Artemis Night Serum to your palms.

3. Press the serum into your face and neck.

4. Now is another good time for a gentle face massage 😉

5. That's it! Sleep well knowing your skin is well nourished to heal and restore overnight.

What are the benefits of seed oils in the Artemis Night serum? Plus

We know that seed oils have gotten a bad rap, and for good reason. You can read more about how we feel about seed oils here.

There are certain seed oils that we love. Below are a few that we use, specifically in our Artemis Antioxidant Night Serum.

Rosehip: Encourages new cell growth, leading to fresher, brighter skin. The feel is very ightweight and is easily absorbed into skin. Brightens skin tone and reduces redness.

Pomegranate: The high levels of punicic acid in Pomegrante oil helps to fight free radicals and oxidative stress. This oil can help to reduce inflammation and stimulate collagen growth. We love Pomegrante oil in our Artemis Antioxidant Serum because of its ability to help repair sun damage.

Seabuckthorn: Seabuckthorn oil is a powerhouse rich in Vitamins A, C, and E, and cartenoids—all of which work synergistically to protect and enhance the skin barrier, protect against UV damage, boost collagen production, and create a brightening affect. Seabuckthorn also helps to promote oil balance in the skin, making it a great oil for all skin types. Oh, and we almost forgot to mention its rich, luxurious color that makes our serum feel like liquid gold.
Why should I use the Artemis Antioxidant Serum at night? Plus

You should use Artemis only at night because it contains beautiful, healing seed oils, it is important to keep your face out of the sun when you are wearing it.

Seed oils, while containing powerful antioxidant properties, are delicate under UV radiation (sunlight). In order to protect against oxidative stress, we recommend only using Artemis at night for some much deserved beauty sleep.
How do I use the Artemis night serum? Plus

Simply spray 3-5 spritzes of your favorite hydrosol or rosewater to your face. Then, apply 5-10 drops of Artemis to your skin. We love to give a little facial massage or a lymph massage while rubbing it in because why not?

What kind of skin is the antioxidant night serum good for? Plus

The Artemis Night Serum is such a gentle formula that it is suitable for most skin types.

As always, we recommend doing a patch test on a small section of skin. Everyone is different, and your exact skin makeup and texture is going to be different than anyone else’s.

If you are very prone to acne, red, or oily skin, we would recommend the Ma’at Balancing Serum as it may be more beneficial in restoring your skin back to a natural balance.
Will the orange color of the serum stain my skin? Plus

No! The orange color will give you a slight glow and may add a nice flush to your face, but it will not stain your skin. We do not recommend sleeping on white pillow cases while wearing the Artemis.

Is the Artemis Night Serum suitable for sensitive or acne-prone skin? Plus

As always, we recommend doing a patch test on a small section of skin. Everyone is different, and your exact skin makeup and texture is going to be different than anyone else’s.

That said, the Artemis Night Serum is formulated to be incredibly gentle on the skin and is suitable for most skin types. This product is not designed to specifically help to treat acne.

    the best tallow balm i've ever used on my face

    Truly this is the best tallow balm I've ever used. It doesn't have that normal tallow smell you get with other products. It's smells fresh, nourishing, and light. Just a pleasant, not overpowering scent. Plus, my dry skin has been loving this with the dry PNW winter we've been having.

    The most moisturizing skin bundle ever

    Both of these products are so clearly infused with care and love, and I think the skin can feel it! The Artemis Night Serum deeply hydrates my skin as I navigate winter in the high desert air, especially after spending lots of time outside. I love the Hera Face Balm all over my body. My skin feels protected, hydrated and glowy.

    I am so happy I found Rhea, it has completely transformed my skin.

    I have very sensitive skin, dry yet breaks in reaction to many ingredients, and have never found ‘the miracle product’ until Rhea. The day balm is so creamy and light and leaves my skin smooth and glowing. I really appreciate that all of the products are batched to order using ingredients you could quite literally eat, now that’s true nourishment for the skin.
